David P. Kaye
David P. Kaye joined the Tyler-Donegan team in February, 2011, providing real estate advisory services in Frederick County.
Previously, Mr. Kaye served as a senior vice president at Scheer Partners in Rockville, MD and before that as the senior director of facilities and research services for the Biomedical Research and Development Division of the American Red Cross.
His background in facilities management spans more than 35 years, including a 25-year career in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and senior positions at two major research universities (Yale and Stanford).
He has been in building construction, operations and maintenance, and more recently, commercial real estate, throughout his career and was stationed in Germany, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Alaska, Hawaii, Vietnam and many places in the continental United States.
Mr. Kaye holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration from the University of Maryland, which he earned while on active duty. He holds several certifications, such as Management Systems for Energy from Georgia Tech and Contracting Officer’s Representative from the Federal Market Institute, and has also received formal training from OSHA and the Department of Defense. He has received numerous awards from employers as well as municipalities.
David is active in Frederick community affairs and currently serves as the appointed chair for his area of the Frederick City Neighborhood Advisory Council.
