Summary: |
|
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is a 2 story structure
with a 210 foot mast depicting the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial
of the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.   The Circular
shape of the building and interior partitions created
may challenges during the installation of the mechanical
system.   This job included a 1.9 million dollar sheet
metal subcontract which included exposed ductwork installed
30 feet in the air.   The job required special coordination
and scheduling of installations around the museum exhibit
installations.   A stringent quality control program
also required a full time QC manager for the duration
of the project. |
